We’re Melanie and Linnaea Elzinga.
We’re two sisters. Together, we are the marketing crew at Alderspring Ranch, a family ranch that’s been selling grassfed organic beef online and direct to consumer for over 15 years (yep, we were selling online long before it was cool). We’ve made selling online and shipping to our customers work for our ranch, and we’re here to help you do the same.

Linnaea Elzinga

I do a lot of the marketing and website work (as well as some photography). My job is to help you convey your brand to customers in a way that gets their attention.

I’m the main photographer and graphic designer, and I do some of our web design work. I use visuals like design or photos to capture and tell your story.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Need quality photos for your marketing, social media, website, and brochures or info cards? The advantage you have with us when we take your photos is that we understand marketing and we understand agriculture. We know what customers want—and don’t want—to know when they’re buying online from a small producer or artisan. We can take pictures that appeal to your ideal customer.
Product Photography
- You send us your products and we’ll send you back high-quality professional images that you can use in your marketing, on your website, and on social media!
- If you’re a farmer or rancher selling food, we can also create delicious recipes to go with the products we photograph. You can then use these recipes on recipe cards for customers, a food blog, or on product pages. We have 10 years of experience in recipe development and food blogging.
- We can customize the style of our photos to fit your brand. Bright and airy? Modern and moody? Rustic and homey? We’ll make it happen!
- We do lifestyle shots (product being used), food shots, and more.
- We can also come to you and do a full onsite product shoot!

Farm, Family, & Animal Photography
We’ll travel to you and do a full day shoot of your entire operation (including product shots, portraits, etc)
Guaranteed 200 quality photos minimum (we’ll probably give you more, but we guarantee 200)
Included in the photo package is 1-2 hours of pre-shoot consulting on your unique branding & marketing strategy. We’ll then take photos that tell your story and fit your brand!
Also included is a 1 hour photography workshop if you want to improve your own photography. We’ll give you some quick tools to improve your photos…even if you just use a smartphone!
WEB DESIGN
Want to sell your products online? We can build you an online store + sales platform. Don’t need an online storefront but just a website to showcase your business? We can build you an online presence. Already have a website but need it moved or updated? We can do that too!
Online Store Setup
- We’ll build an entire online store for you on Shopify
- We’ll work with you to come up with product offerings and write descriptions and text that sell and are SEO friendly.
- We’ll set up discounted shipping & label printing on your new store.
- We’ll show you how to run your new storefront after we’re done.
Online Platform Design
- We’ll design you a beautiful website that tells your story, showcases your brand and work, and is SEO friendly (optimized to show up in your customers’ google search results)

LOGO DESIGN
Want a unique logo that captures your brand? We can design a simple and beautiful logo that you can use in all your branding. We can also integrate your logo into a label that you can use on your product packaging.
Logo Design or Label Design
- We’ll design a logo and/or label that fits your brand & story
- We can give it to you in a variety of file formats and colors so you can send it to printers, use it on your website, or use it in your graphics.
- If you’re a farmer/rancher & we design you a label, we’ll also help you work with FDA label approvals to fast-track your approval process (so you won’t have to wait several months to start using your label on your packaging)!

MARKETING
Want to start selling & marketing online but not sure where to begin? We can work with you to create a unique online marketing strategy for your business. What we don’t do is run your marketing for you…instead we give you the tools to market your own business as only you can!

Travel Fees
For some services, we can waive travel fees and work with you remotely!
Travel Discount: if you can find 1 other business within a 5 hour drive of you that also wants our services, we’ll give you a 40% discount on travel fees and them 20%. Have lots of friends and found more than one business near you that wants our services? Let us know and we’ll give you and your friends all an even better travel discount.
